The Divine Right of Kings and Popes
The divine rights of kings and popes,
What silly rubbish, how stupid their jokes.
A king is born and looks like is a clown,
He starts a life with a fixed painted frown.
Popes begin as birds, but without any wings,
Claiming later they can fly as Heavenly things.
Divine right tells such an Earth-born child,
Ascend to power with your false claims wild.
Yet having to defecate, their reality to pass,
Squatting’s the way they must crouch like an ass.
So divinely gifted, they can do as an ass,
Kings and popes for sure have their own class.
Truth laughs most at those kings and popes,
For divine rights are free, even of such robes.
A king and a pope are nothings divine,
When comes their end, they can only whine.
Eh? Divine rights for kings, even for popes,
How silly that rubbish, how stupid their jokes.
