Hey diddle, diddle, the cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon,
The little dog laughed to see such a sight
And the dish ran away with the spoon.

Oh my, oh my, the pig's in disguise,
The tree went looking for clues,
The butterfly found him a front row seat,
And the clown made up breaking news.

A dilly, a dally, two pickles with Sally,
The clock ran down the street,
The toad in a cupboard ate waffles and butter, 
And the fish lay in bed with a sheet.

A toddle, a tattle, a five o'clock shadow,
The goat got stuck in his lieu,
The turtle just smiled, when asked if he'd mind,
And the nail drove home with the screw.

For riddle, for rattle, no reason to prattle,
The snake flew off in a rage,
The pig only smirked to be such a ham,
And the sheep tried to follow this page.

When Time Abides

Whenever the time abides the way,

When some unknown future awaits,

Not striving to know the unknown,

Leads inevitably to unplanned ways.

Plans can’t spoil unexpected futures,

If in mistakes that planning provides,

A path to more than can be planned,

Leads further on the unplanned land.

Yet without a plan as future’s claim,

Allowance is forged in future’s past,

Unseen before in great rush to know,

What in those times abides the way?

Spontaneity grows as plans subside,

Creativity arrives to master the void,

And mistakes cannot wrong the way,

Unplanned future is allowed to play.
